This guide explains the steps to review a candidate's interview results on the Karat platform. This content is intended for recruiters and other users on the Karat platform.
Karat shares interview results after the candidate’s interview. These results include recommendations, scores, AI-generated summaries, and supplementary insights. Providing feedback on recommendations enables Karat to fine-tune scoring buckets, ensuring the right candidates are recommended for your organization's needs.

Streamlined UI design
The UI design of the interview results page enhances readability and flow, reducing the number of clicks to access core information. Each candidate’s interview results is now organized in a cleaner, more intuitive format, so you can quickly get to the details that matter.
Scoring breakdown
Karat's score breakdown provides a granular view of candidate performance across key skill areas. This helps you see not only the overall score, but also how the candidate performed in specific competencies. See more details in our guide "An Introduction to Karat Interview Results".
Integrity check
If the interviewer suspects potential misconduct or cheating during the interview, Karat includes an integrity check in the candidate's results page. Karat highly recommends carefully reviewing the interview results and video recording before making a decision on this candidate.
ATS integration
If your organization enabled an ATS integration, you will receive interview results summaries in your ATS integration with enhanced score breakdown and the integrity check incorporated. The integrity check will be part of the interview results summary only if an interviewer flags any potential misconduct or cheating during an interview.
Your ATS integration notes will look like the following:
Interview: https://<your-organization>.karat.io/candidates/s/7b5a77fc-5417-4d75-be2f-0be318d81805
Recommendation: <candidate's-name> scored above your standard bar
Total Score: 334/600
Standard Bar: 278
React: 52/130
Develop and Update Backend Code: 282/470
For more information, see ATS integrations overview and How to: Receive status and result updates in your ATS.
Karat API
You can get candidate's interview results through the Karat API. For more information, see the Karat API documentation.
With last updates on the interview results, the calibratedResultScoringSummary will replaced the structuredResultSummary object. Please, update query to avoid errors when using Karat's API. Review API documentation: Calibrated Result Scoring Summary to see updated query.
